Chicken Biryani

#GA4 #week16 #biryani Biryani is only dish which is all time favourite of all. this time I have prepared it with different method .

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the rice and soaked in the water for half hour. take cinnamon,cloves, cardamom,mace and nutmeg mention above in a grinding jar and make a fine powder.keep aside Wash the chicken well.in a mixing bowl add chicken add 1/2 tsp food colour and water add one tbsp salt and mix well.keep aside

In a bowl Take poppy seeds and coconut soaked in water for ten minutes then grind and make a thick paste.

* Step 3

Take a heavy bottom vessel.add ghee and oil.heat it then add onion saute until it turn golden brown.transfer half onion in a plate.then add 1 bay leaf,1 stick cinnamon one black cardamom,2green cardamom 2cloves and pepper corns.and Shah zeera,saute add ginger garlic paste.saute few seconds.add chopped tomatoes,salt, red chilli powder and poppy seeds paste.mix well cover and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes or tomatoes turn soft.

* Step 4

When tomatoes become soft and the spices cooked well.turn the flame low add curd mix well cook it another 2 minute.then add chicken and mix all together that chicken coated all spices well.cooked on high flame for ten minute. Stir occasionally. Meanwhile boil soaked rice along with 1 bay leaf,2cardamom,2 cloves,cumin seeds and green chillies.add 4 tsp salt and little oil.when rice cooked 80% then strain it.

* Step 5

When chicken turn soft cook on high flame until water should be evaporated and oil released.add prepared ground masala mix and cook for one minute.

* Step 6

Take a wide and heavy bottom vessel.add half part of chicken then put a layer of half rice then spread some fried onion.add chicken then rice and fried onion.mix lightly.cover and cooked for 5-6 minutes.then take 2tbsp water add remaining colour mix it and spread it on rice.add lemon juice and kewra water.add fried onion mix again.cover and cooked on low flame. After that turn off the flame.the delicious biryani is ready to serve.
