Mutton With Pointed Gourd (Gosht- Parwal)

Ingredient

250 grams

pointed gourd

1/3 cup

oil

2 tbsp

thick curd

leaves

Coriander

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean and wash mutton. Keep aside. Heat a pressure cooker add oil and add all whole spices. Let them crackle for 10 seconds. Add sliced onion and saute till light brown.

* Step 2

Add mutton and cook till liquid dries. Add ginger garlic paste and all piwdeted spices except garam madala powder. Saute on high flame for 2 minutes.

* Step 3

Add salt and 1/2 cup water. Pressure cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Let pressure release itself.

* Step 4

After pressure release, open lid and saute mutton for 3-4 minutes on hifh flame. Add curd. Saute on low flame for 1 minute.

Add pointed gourd and garam masala powder. Saute, 1 minute, add 1/2 cup water and further pressure cook on mefium flame for 2 whistles.

* Step 6

Let pressire release. Add coriander leaves and mix. Dish out and serve with boiled rice /parathas/chapatis etc.
