Ingredient

1 cup

besan

1 tbsp

rice flour

as per taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut brinjal into 1/2cm thick pieces. Dip in water and keep aside.

* Step 2

In a bowl take besan and rice flour. Add carom seeds and all powdered spices. Mix Add water to make a batter of dropping consistency.

* Step 3

Heat oil in a kadhai till medium hot. Dip brinjal piece one by one in the batter and deep fry till golden. Fry all fritters like this.

* Step 4

Serve hot with chutney/sauce.
