Traditional Firni

A popular sweet dish to sweet tooth persons.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 persons

Cooking time :

15 minutes.
1/4 cup

sugar

2 tbsp

khoya

1/2 tsp

kewra water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grind coarsely the rice.

* Step 2

Heat milk and boil for 10 minutes till reduced to 1/3part.

* Step 3

Add ground rice,stir contineously to avoid lumping.Cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.

* Step 4

Add khoya and sugar.Further cook for 2-3 minutes or to get the proper consistency.

* Step 5

Add dry fruits(reserve some dry fruits for garnishing)

* Step 6

Put off flame.Add kewra water.Mix.

* Step 7

Dish out and garnish with dry fruits.Serve warm/chilled.
