Veg-Pulao

A simple yet delicious prepration of rice with spicy vegatables.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Heat ghee in a pan.Slice the onion and fry till golden,take out and leep aside.

* Step 3

Add whole spices in the pan,add onion paste and ginger garlic paste.Saute for 1 minute.

* Step 4

Add other powdered spices,cook for 3-4minutes till raw smell of spices eliminates.Add all vegetables and salt.Add 1/2cup wayer and cook for 4-5minutes till vegetables are half done.

* Step 5

Add rice and 3 cups of water.Cover and cook.

* Step 6

After one boil,lower the flame to medium and cook till rice is done.

* Step 7

If required add some more water till rice and vegetables are cooked well.

* Step 8

Garnish with fried onion and serve hot with raita.
