Stuffed Bell Peppers in a Red Sauce

My oldest daughter loved these she ate all that I gave for her and her family. 6 of them total.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut the tops off the peppers and remove seeds and core. Place them in a pan. Dice the pepper tops and add to the stuffing. Mix all the stuffing ingredients. Preheat your oven to 450° Fahrenheit.

* Step 2

Fill the peppers with the stuffing mixture. Mix the ingredients for the sauce. Add the sauce on top of each pepper. Add the rest of the sauce into the pan. Cover the stuffed peppers with aluminum foil. Put into the oven for 45 minutes. Uncover the peppers baste with the juices in pan cover again and put into oven for 45 minutes more.

* Step 3

Take out of the oven let them rest for 12 minutes, uncover, let rest 3 minutes and serve. I hope you enjoy!!!
