Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 200 CΒ°. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Cook minced garlic and finally chopped onion until soft, about 5 minutes. Add grated carrots and cook until golden.

* Step 2

To the skillet goes rice, salt and water to be cooked on a low heat until water is fully evaporated. No need to fully cook rice, it'll finish cooking in the oven.

* Step 3

While rice is cooking start preparing peppers by removing top and cleaning out seeds. If you went with bigger peppers, slice them in half so they would cook faster and more evenly

* Step 4

In a large mixing bowl combine meat, finely chopped dill (can be substituted with any herb of choice), grated parmigiano and cooked rice with vegetables. After combining everything together stuff peppers with it

* Step 5

For the sauce combine canned tomato sauce with water, finely chopped basil, sour cream and sugar. At this point it depends on the canned tomato sauce, if it's not sour enough add some tomato paste but if it's enough leave it as is. Add some salt to taste

* Step 6

Place stuffed peppers on to the baking dish and cover with sauce. Cook in the oven for 60 minutes or until internal temperature of the meet gets to 68Β°C
