More often I make kachy qeemy k kabab but I was badly craving for beef shami kabab so made these spicy juicy and super tasty shami kababs quickly in pressure cooker. Usually I cook meat and lentil on a low flame but if you want to have kababs immediatley use pressure cooker.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add soaked lentil and meat in the pressure cooker. Add rest spices and onion ginger garlic paste.

Add water mix it.

Close the lid and pressure cook for 20 to 25 minutes on medium flame. Open the lid and dry access water.let it cool down then mash with masher or ghotna. Or use a food processor.

Transfer to a bowl now chop mint leaves green chillies and coriander. Mix in the mixture.

Take some mixture and shape them. Or you can use this simple trick for making perfect shape kababs.

* Step 6

Make 25 to 26 kababs. Place them on a tray if you want to freeze them. Then store in a airtight container.

If you want to eat immetiately freeze for an hour.Beat 2 eggs add salt and pepper to taste. Dip kababs into the egg mixture and shallow fry on medium low heat. I love shami kababs without egg coating.

Dish out and serve with ketchup and mint raita.

My favourite combo is shami kabab with naan or with matar pulao๐Ÿ˜‹
