Palak Dal Tadka

#boxweek7 Palak dal is lentils cooked with spinach and tempered with some Indian spices. It is a healthy,super delicious ,easy and loved recipe in Indian homes and restaurants. This simple protein rich dish is served with roti,paratha or steamed rice. Trust me kids also love this recipe.so without wasting any time let’s head to the kitchen and start cooking

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First of all we will blanched the spinach and keep it aside for further use.

Now we will boil the mixed and chana dal in pressure cooker with salt till two whistle and keep it aside.

* Step 3

In a wok or Kadahi we will heat ghee and add cumin seed,then add ginger,garlic and chopped green chilli to the ghee mix it for 1 minutes then add chopped onion and fry till light golden colour.

* Step 4

Now add chopped tomato to the masala. Then add all the dried masala powder (coriander,cumin,red chilli powder) mix it well and cook it till oil separate.

Later add in blanched spinach mix it well and cook oil separate,then add boiled daal to prepared masala adjust the water,bring it to the boil.

Then add in the chopped coriander leaves and garam masala powder to the dal cook for another 2-3 minutes, your palak dal is ready.

Now for tadka heat ghee in a smal pan then add cumin seeds, Kashmiri red chilli powder and dried red chilli let it crack and pour it to the palak dal. Tada your delicious palak dal tadka is ready to serve hot with roti,paratha or rice,
