#boxweek3 Pancake is a flat cake, often thin and round,prepared from a starch based batter that may contain egg,milk and butter and cooked on a hot surface such as griddle or frying pan,often frying with oil or butter. In many different places pancakes are served as breakfast or dessert,and they are served with sweet sources or toppings such as maple syrup,jam or sugar.Pancakes are also served with savory ( non- sweet) filling and toppings such as meat pie. So without wasting any time let’s head to the kitchen and cook this delicious pancake.🧑‍🍳

Ingredient

Cooking time :

20 minutes
1/2 cup

milk

1

egg

1 tbsp

sugar

1/2 tsp

baking soda

Pinch

salt

As Per Required

Maple syrup for garnish

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all the ingredients in the mixing bowl except oil and make a thick runny smooth batter, keep it aside to rest for 10 minutes.

* Step 2

Heat a brushed oiled frying pan or griddle on medium heat. Pour the batter onto the pan cook on the first side until bubbles appear on the surface, the edges become to look dry,and the bottom are golden brown,about 2- 3 minutes.

* Step 3

Flip the pancake,cook until the second side are golden brown.Repeat using more oil and cooking the remaining batter.
