Soy Sauce Chicken - Easy Hawaiian Dish
I got this recipe from my grandmother who is a Japanese descendant living in Hawaii. She is originally from Okinawa so she used brown sugar. This is an easy recipe for any Hawaii lovers to cook. You will always find this popular dish at any party. Every family has its own recipe and everybody loves it. If you have any brown sugar at home that you got as a souvenir, you can make Hawaiian food with it!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Rinse the defrosted chicken many times under running water.
* Step 2
These are the ingredients: brown sugar, garlic, and sliced ginger.
* Step 3
Heat 1 cup (200 ml) of water in a stock pot and melt the brown sugar.
* Step 4
When it comes to a boil, add the chicken, stir, and simmer over medium heat for a while. Here's the tip: Add 1 cup (200 ml) of water if you are using fresh meat.
* Step 5
After you add the garlic and ginger, pour the soy sauce.
* Step 6
After simmering for 20 minutes, turn off the heat and put the lid on. Wait for an hour.
* Step 7
It's ready to serve. The photo shows 2 kg of chicken!
