Chana dal and lauki ki sabzi

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and soak chana dal in water for min 30min drain the soaked chana dal and keep aside
* Step 2
Peel the lauki and chopped into pieces
* Step 3
Heat 3tablespoon oil in a pressure cooker over medium flame add mustard seeds till it crakle add cumin seeds a pinch of hing small chopped garlic and small piece of cinnamon sticks saute until garlic turns golden brown
* Step 4
Add tomato red chilli powder and coriander powder and turmeric powder
* Step 5
Stir and fry until tomato turns soft
* Step 6
Add soak and drained chana dal now add chopped lauki and salt
* Step 7
Mix properly and saute for 3 to 4 min
* Step 8
Saute the lauki so that the lauki is mixed with the spices well add 3/4 cup of water and mix well
* Step 9
Close the lid of the pressure cooker for 4 to 5 whistles over medium flame. Turns off the flame and taste the curry for the salt
* Step 10
If the curry is too thick u can add 1 cup of water to make perfect consistency
* Step 11
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
