#besan My mother makes dhoka curry by deep frying the besan dhoka to use it in the curry. Eventually upon growing up I innovated a twist in the recipe making a healthier and better version of it just like paneer. when I cooked this recipe for my son recently he got confused and asked me mama it was paneer curry na? It is extremely soft and delicious ro eat.. Please share this

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 cup

water

to taste

Salt

1 tsp + 1 tsp

Sugar

1 tsp

Oil

5 cloves

garlic

1 tbsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For Besan paneer -Boil water with salt, sugar, oil, then add grated carrot, spring onions, chopped chilli, chopped coriander leaves.

Let the water boil

Then add Gram flour or Besan slowly little at a time and stir continuously to avoid any lumps.

Cook and stir till the mixture becomes thick and separate from Kadai, immediately pour this mixture in a greased plate and spread it thoroughly & cut in to square and diamond shape like paneer.

Heat a kadai with ghee then add onion, ginger, garlic, tomato, Turmeric powder, Cardamom, cloves, cashew nuts then fry.

After 3 minutes add salt, sugar to taste, and grind it along with 1/2 cup of water,

Then strain it to make a smooth texture.

Heat a Kadai pour this mixture, add cumin powder, sugar and salt to taste cook low flame add tomato sauce, kasuri methi, gram flour and paneer, cover it and cook for another 2 minutes. Then sprinkle some coriander leaves, creamy Makhmali Besan is ready to eat.

* Step 9

Serve hot with roti, paratha, rice etc.
