Coconut kashata

Ingredient

1/3 cups

sugar

1/4 cup

water

1/2 tsp

food colour

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Under medium heat, bring water and sugar to boil. Add the cardamom powder and the food color and mix till evenly combined. Reduce to a simmer until sticky.

* Step 2

Add in the coconut and mix under very low heat until well mixed.

* Step 3

Place on an oiled container and flatten to your desire. Divide into your desired shapes and let cool completely.

Serve and enjoy.
