Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take a blender add green peas and grind coarsely.
* Step 2
Wash and chop spinach and also wash the urad dal.
* Step 3
Take a pressure cooker add spinach,urad dal,green peas,onion,grated ginger,tomato,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt and pressure cook for ten mins.
* Step 4
Once cooled,open the lid dal is mix well.
* Step 5
Heat a pan for tempering the dal.
* Step 6
Heat clarified butter in a pan add asafoetida,cumin seeds,black mustard seeds,cloves and whole red chilli and temper the dal.
* Step 7
Serve hot with chapati or rice
