California Farm Hybrid Fruit: Peach-Plum Brandy

White peaches cannot be canned, they disintegrate, but this new hybrid fruit works for me, like plums. This is a California hybrid fruit, 50% white peach and 50% plum, ripe in June July. They are large fruits, half a pound each, firm white flesh like a white peach, smooth skin like a Santa Rosa plum, loose stone pit in center, and with a plum after taste, perfect to make a liqueur.
