Lagan Dahi Pasanda

#meatyeid is a meat based dish originating from North India and Pakistan. This dish belongs to Mughal era. lagan dahi Pasanda recipe is made with leg of lamb, flattened into strips, marinated with salt, yoghurt and all spices, and fried in a dish with seasoning. This dish can also be made using chicken and king prawns; in each case, the process and ingredients remain the same though. Beef Pasanda recipe can also be prepared in the form of kebab. Serve this delicious Beef Pasanda recipe along with boiled rice, Naan, bread, or curried okra.

Ingredient

1 1/2 teaspoons

salt

1/2 pint

yoghurt

8 ounces

ghee

2 ounces

fresh ginger

2 teaspoons

ground coriander

1 teaspoon

garam masala

2 teaspoons

paprika

1/2 teaspoon

ground cumin

2 teaspoons

turmeric

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rub the salt into the meat. In a bowl marinate the meat in the yoghurt for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

* Step 2

In a heavy pan melt the ghee and fry the onions till golden.

* Step 3

Add the garlic and ginger and all of the spices, stir and cook for 5 mins over low heat.

* Step 4

Add the meat and the yoghurt mix and cook till the meat is tender about 50 minutes.

* Step 5

Serve with as a side dish of curried okra and boiled rice.
