Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, in a big bowl, take chicken leg pieces/wings. Add all ingredients of marination. Mix all ingredients well. cover it and keep this aside for about 30 minutes.
* Step 2
Now in a pan take 1 tbsp oil or butter. Add sliced onion and cook until they become brown in color. turn off the flame. Keep fried onion aside.
* Step 3
Now in a pan take 2 tbsp oil, add all dry spices, like big cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, and cloves. Add marinated chicken. Cover it and cook on medium flame.
* Step 4
Meanwhile in a grinder take fried onion, soaked almonds, green chilies. Grind it well. Then add curd to it again grind it well. The paste is ready.
* Step 5
Add this paste to the chicken and mix well. again cook for about 10- 15 minutes. Until chicken is cooked well and oil start separates. add salt as per taste. Mix well.
* Step 6
Hot and spicy Afghani chicken is ready. Serve hot with rice or roti.
