Spinach mushroom bacon with Herb de Provence quiche

Ingredient

spinach

1/2 tsp

Nutmeg

1 handful

cheese

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. (If you prefer quiche with crust, blind bake pie crust first.)

* Step 2

Sauté garlic, onion, and bacon first until onion softens.

* Step 3

Add mushrooms and sauté couple minutes more. Then add spinach in the end and sauté a minute or so more.

* Step 4

Whisk eggs, milk or heavy cream. Add nutmeg, cayenne pepper, herb de province, salt and pepper to your liking.

* Step 5

Put the sautéed ingredients into piecrust or directly into the pie dish. Sprinkles with your favorite cheese.

* Step 6

Pour the egg mixture on top. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
