Spaghetti bolognese
This morning I took part in a cooking challenge with the members of Cookpad Indonesia. I think it was a setup that my team got the box with the pasta in it. 🤣
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Chop the onion and garlic and carrot real small. I took this picture before chopping the carrot.
* Step 2
Add a generous pour of olive oil to a large pan and add the vegetables, stirring occasionally until they start to brown.
* Step 3
Add the beef mince and cook until browned then add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and oregano. I added some water at this stage too.
* Step 4
Cook for a 30-45 mins on a low heat. Taste regularly. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
* Step 5
Just before serving boil the pasta in salted water. When al dente drain the pasta reserving some water.
