Chocolate Easter Nests

The ultimate childhood nostalgia - the best Easter treats. Im planning to serve them as a dessert alongside a cheeseboard at a dinner party this weekend. I did half with Rice Krispies and half with Shredded Wheat to accommodate all preferences. I’m not sure anyone needs a recipe to make these but I’m sharing it anyway because the cereal to chocolate ratio was spot on.

Ingredient

Makes 32 cakes

Cooking time :

20 minutes
200 g

mini eggs

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie (a bowl over a saucepan of semi-boiling water)

* Step 2

Once melted, transfer half the chocolate into a separate bowl. Add the Rice Krispies to one half of the chocolate and the Shredded Wheat to the other. Coat the cereal in chocolate.

* Step 3

Spoon the mixture even into the cupcake cases and top with mini eggs.
