Ingredient

16 Brownies
230 g

Butter

1 Tsp

Cinnamon

1 Pinch

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

* Step 2

Melt the butter and chocolate together. I do this over a bain-marie. Boil a pot of water, then cover with a heat-proof bowl. Lower the heat so the water simmers. Place the chocolate and butter in the bowl, keep stirring the melting chocolate to make sure it melts evenly.

* Step 3

When it's melted take the chocolate and butter off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes. Add the sugar and stir together. Add the eggs and whisk together, then add the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk together.

* Step 4

Line a 9-inch baking pan. Add the batter and sprinkle a tablespoon of the sugar on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, about halfway though reduce the heat to 160 degrees. They are ready when you prick the middle and a little bit of the brownie sticks to the fork. Leave to cool in the pan before cutting and serving.
