Traditional Irish Soda Bread

Traditionally does not have raisins in,or sugar,but if adding sugar it is 2 - 4 tbsp. and raisins is a cup measurement. Flour is 3 cups of flour and Buttermilk is almost 2 cups. Half a teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda and half of a teaspoon of Baking Powder,plus add One teaspoon of salt.The cup measurement for the Buttermilk might be too much,the Recipe is not mine,I pinched it off of someone else,a Recipe from the Cookery App Yummly.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to a high setting about 375 degrees.

* Step 2

Mix the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl

* Step 3

Add the Buttermilk to form a sticky round dough

* Step 4

Add dough to a floured surface and knead only 8 - 10 times,don't over knead

* Step 5

Place Baking Parchment onto a suitable Baking Tray and then use a large sharp Knife too cut a cross shape all the way down on both sides,could move dough into a Baking Cake Tin.Bake for One hour and then it should be done.
