Creamy Lemon Curry Chip Butty

Chip butties are popular in UK cuisine,I made homemade potato chips from King Edward Potatoes,I fried onions in Olive Oil in a large frying pan with Lid and then I added my thick homemade Lemon Curry Sauce,I added the cooked deep fried chips too the watered down Curry,I cooked it through for about 15 minutes - the potatoes did break up within the Curry - so a good tip is too make another batch of deep fried potato chips for whole chips within your sandwiches - I made the curry creamy at the end - when I added a generous amount of Greek Yogurt,the whole tub.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel the potatoes,chip,then add them to the hot cooking oil,600g of deep fried chips add too the curry later.

* Step 2

Heat the olive oil in the large frying pan with Lid and then roughly chop the onions and add them to the frying pan,the onions don't have to be crispy,just gently cook them through.

* Step 3

Add the cooked chips to the frying pan,add the very thick curry sauce and then some cold water,bring too the boil and then simmer with the lid on for about 15 minutes.

* Step 4

Deep fry 300g of chipped potatoes,butter some sliced bread.

* Step 5

Once Curry is done,turn off the hob cooker and stir in all the authentic Greek Yogurt into the curry mix and then put some on each One slice of bread and add hot chips too the other sides of sliced bread - fold together and maybe enjoy eating 2 sandwiches.
