Homemade Hummus

Homemade Hummus

We eat hummus for a while usually restaurant or store bought, we always thought it would be hard to make. Well after checking some recipes we came up with our version of homemade hummus. Quick and delicious 😋.

Ingredient

1 1/2 cups

cooked chickpeas

50 ml

Tahini

3 tbsp

olive oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a food processor add the lime juice and the tahini (stir it well before pouring the tahini into the food processor). Process the mixture so it is homogeneous.

* Step 2

Add the garlic, olive oil, cummin, black pepper and salt (optional). Process a bit more.

* Step 3

Add half of the chickpeas to the processor and process it stopping and scrapping the sides from time to time. When the mixture is more or less homogeneous add the rest of the chickpeas and repeat the process until you get an homogeneous paste.

* Step 4

Add water one tablespoon at a time processing and checking the consistency until it gets creamy to your taste.

* Step 5

Add some olive oil and paprika to serve and it is ready.
