Roast Beef Sunday Roast

One of the best hangover cures in the world (the night previous to this was the England game). Get stuck into this for a proper Sunday

Ingredient

4 sprigs

rosemary

carrot

100 g

swede

1 knob

butter

30 g

cheese

50 g

potatoes

3 tsp

salt

3 tsp

pepper

4 tbsp

flour

8 tbsp

milk

egg

3 tbsp

goose fat

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Season your beef with salt and pepper, roast for 40 minutes with rosemary springs and leave to rest for 20 minutes

* Step 2

Whisk egg, flour and milk and pour into Yorkshire pudding trays and cook for 25 minutes. Don’t open the oven

* Step 3

Boil your carrot and swede for 20 minutes and mash with butter and mustard

* Step 4

Par boil potatoes and cauliflower for 5 minutes, get goose fat hot in the oven and get your potatoes in there for 40 minutes turning regularly, sprinkle cheese on cauliflower and get them in there for the same amount of time

* Step 5

Wrap sausages with bacon and get in the oven for 20 minutes

* Step 6

Mix your stuffing into balls and get in the oven for 20 minutes

* Step 7

Get potato croquets in the oven for 20 minutes

* Step 8

Boil broccoli for 7 minutes

* Step 9

Get the juice from the beef in a pan with beef stock, rosemary and flour and whisk in the hob, simmer until slightly thickened for the gravy

* Step 10

Serve everything with piccalilli on the side
