Christmas Cranberry Sauce

Christmas Cranberry Sauce

The perfect accompaniment to roast turkey, duck or chicken. Incredibly easy to make and much nicer than store bought jars. Make the day before to help get ahead!

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 bowl

Cooking time :

15 minutes
1 stick

cinnamon

50-75 g

caster sugar

2-3 tbsp

port

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grate the ginger and squeeze the clementines.

Add all the ingredients except the port to the pan.

* Step 3

Simmer on a low heat for 5 to 10 minutes until the berries are soft and some are just beginning to burst. Taste and add more sugar if needed.

Add the port then replace the lid and leave to cool completely in the pan so the flavours develop.

* Step 5

When cool transfer to serving dishes, cover and keep in a fridge or a cool place. Serve at room temperature.
