Old tomato/ old onion marinara sauce
We all sometimes find some old tomatoes or onions that we forgot to use. I always turn them into a sauce then freeze. So perfect and better than a jar any day. Of course you can make this sauce with new. Just as good lol 🤣 use for pizza , pasta , bolognese ……..

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan and lightly fry the onion with the salt- about 8 mins until translucent not browned
* Step 2
Add the diced tomatoes, thyme and water. Cook for about 10-15 mins until all soft.
* Step 3
Either use and stand mixer or liquidiser and blend until smooth. You can now pass through a sieve if you want any ultra smooth sauce or I like to leave as is so I get all the goodies from the skins. Can now put in fridge for 2-3 days or freeze and use later.
* Step 4
Use as a pizza topping, as a pasta sauce. Add meat to make a bolognaise- the list goes on and on and on. ENJOY 😊
