Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a large Frying pan add the oil and on a medium heat cook the Onion until sofend then add the crushed minced garlic and cook for 1 min. Add the meat and increase heat, cook for 4-5 mins until the meat is browned. then add all the other ingreadients for meat sauce - pour the tomatoes into your hand and squash them into small peices. cooked for about 20 mins to let flovours cook together. then removed from heat
* Step 2
In a second pan - heat the butter over a medium heat and sprinkle the flour in and quickly mix to form a paste - allow to cook for 2 mins then carefully add the milk and salt and pepper - mix well and keep siring until the sauce thickens - then remove from heat.
* Step 3
In an oven proof dish add a large layer of meat sauce then a thin layer of the white sauce. Then add a pasta sheet, I need to snap the pieces to cover in one even layer. then more sauce layers and repeat until all the meat sauce is used and you still have enough for the top layer to be white sauce only. I only have 3 layers of pasta.
* Step 4
On the top layer add the last of the white sauce and then sprinkle with the cheese. Cover with foil and cook in an oven at 200c for 30 mins. then carefully remove the foil and cook for another 30 mins (or until pasta is cooked - you can use packing cooking instuctions as a guide) I quickly turn on the grill for 1 min to get the top a little brown if not already.
* Step 5
Remove from oven an allow to rest 5 mins as it will be very very hot. cut serve with a nice dressed salad - WOW :)
