Week 1 of Jamie Diabetic Meal Plan

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large pot, cook ground beef. Drain fat and set aside on plate or in a bowl.

* Step 2

In same large pot, saute onion, bell pepper, cumin, chili powder and oregano, over medium heat until onion is soft.

* Step 3

Add ground meat back into pot. Add kidney beans, broth and salsa.

* Step 4

Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer, covered for approximately 15 minutes.
