Rosemary lemon pepper fish πŸŒ±πŸ‹πŸ 

Global Apron week 14, cook with June ingredients{ pepper corn} rosemary lemon pepper fish is marinated and cooked with spices,herbs, lemon. It is full of tasty flavor when cooked and it is great to serve as a side dish or an appetizer. Enjoy Course: side dish, diet : non vegetarian, nutrition value: vitamin D,C, Omega 3, Calcium, Iodine.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For marinade: in a bowl πŸ₯£ add lemon juice πŸ‹, turmeric powder, red chilli powder 🌢️, paprika powder 🌢️, coriander powder and salt πŸ§‚ mix well, pat dry the fish pieces 🐠, arrange them in a bowl πŸ₯£ pour the marinade on the fish pieces 🐠, mix with your spoon and set aside for 15 min.

* Step 2

Shallow fry the marinade fish pieces 🐠 on medium heat, when 1/2 % done remove from oil, keep aside.in separate pan add 1-2 tbsp oil, add cumin seeds when starts to crackle, add black pepper corn, stir and add finely chopped onion πŸ§…, cook for 1 min, add ginger garlic paste πŸ§„, green chillies paste and mix well, cook for another 1 min.

* Step 3

Add black pepper powder, coriander powder, paprika powder 🌢️, salt πŸ§‚ and mix well cook for 1 min, add add rosemary 🌱, dry mixed herbs🌱 and mix well, add water πŸ’¦ and finally garam masala powder mix well, let it boil for a few mins, when gravy becomes thick add fried fish pieces 🐠, cook first side in the gravy, then turn and cook another side or till the fish pieces are cooked. Finally add few drops of lemon juice πŸ‹ on top and mix gently.

* Step 4

Remove and add in serving plate and serve with onion rings πŸ§… and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves 🌿.

Note: make thick and dry gravy, for better taste, don't make thin gravy in this recipe.
