Sesame chocolate cookies πŸͺ

Goldenapron23week15, a crunchy, toasty and delicious cookies made for kids and adults too, specially made in cold season, enjoy Course: tea time snack, dessert, Cuisine: American, African, diet: vegetarian, nutrition value: vitamin B6, E, zinc, copper, iron, calcium.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180Β°c, line baking sheets with parchment paper, in a medium bowl πŸ₯£ mix plain flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and keep aside.

* Step 2

Cream the butter and sugar together with an electric beater until light and fluffy for 3 mins, beat in egg πŸ₯š, vanilla extract/ rose water πŸŒΉπŸ’¦ and sesame seeds/ poppy seeds slow the beater to low and mix gently.

* Step 3

Add flour mixture slowly, scrape the bowl πŸ₯£ then mix until combined,take dough and make small balls, brush the cookies πŸͺ very lightly with milk πŸ₯›all over roll each cookies πŸͺ in sesame seeds / poppy seeds till they are coated, bake for 10-12 mins until the edges are just light brown, remove from the oven and cool for 5 mins.

* Step 4

Then transfer them to wire rack to cool completely, serve with hot β˜•πŸ«–, coffee or tea.

* Step 5

Note: I have substitute poppy seeds with sesame seeds, because poppy seeds are very rare to find or they are too expensive. The crunchy of sesame seeds will amaze you. Happy baking πŸͺ»πŸŒ·
