Instant potato & peas pickle (1)
Pickles add variety and zest to meals, they also help in digestion, pickles are eaten with plain parathas in the morning, can use as side dish.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Boil the potatoes & peas separately, peel potatoes, dry them both.
* Step 2
Mix salt, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chillies powder, dry fenugreek leaves in a bowl.
* Step 3
Heat oil, add garlic paste saute till light golden, add ginger paste and fry till light brown.
* Step 4
Add vinegar with spices to ginger and garlic paste mix, tip: on slow flame.
* Step 5
Add boiled peas and potatoes, cook further for a min, mix well and remove from fire.
* Step 6
Cool and fill in a clean jar,ready to use or keep for a day or two.
* Step 7
Note: this pickle should be consumed within a week
* Step 8
Tip: don't increase the amount of red chillies powder, it will be hot,use kashmiri red chillies powder.
