Beetroot Soup

Beetroot soup is red colored soup prepared along with chopped tomatoes and onion. Beetroot is rich in vitamin C and low in fat and it is also a rich source of antioxidants, tomato is also used in this soup which makes this soup even more delicious.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a pan. Add grated garlic, beetroot and tomato in it, cook for 5-10 minutes. Keep it aside and allow it to cool.

* Step 2

Make puree of the mixture and keep it aside. Add some oil in a pan, and then add bay leaf, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon, then cook it for 20 seconds.

* Step 3

Add grated onion and cook till it softens, after this add beetroot, tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes.

* Step 4

After 5 minutes, add water and salt then cook for 10-15 minutes.

* Step 5

Close the flame and let it cool for some time. And garnish it with green coriander.
