Pear Upside-down Cake
When you find some pears that have turned very ripe, too soft and nearly rotten (but NOT quite rotten yet), what do you do? I always make them into this cake. This recipe is made for two pears. If you use more pears, naturally you need more cake mixture and a larger cake tin.
Ingredient
Food ration :
Use a small cake tin. I use 20 x 12cm tin.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C. Line a small cake tin with baking paper. Sprinkle Brown Sugar on the baking paper evenly.
* Step 2
Peel skin and slice Pears and arrange the slices on the baking paper.
* Step 3
Make the cake mixture. Mix melted Butter and Sugar until creamy, add Egg and Vanilla and mix well. Add Flour and Milk and mix until smooth.
* Step 4
Pour the mixture over the Pear slices, smooth the surface, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until cooked. Set aside to cool before turning onto a plate.
