Easy Moroccan chicken #mycookbook
This is an old favourite in our family - it’s really easy to make and has a wonderful mixture of flavours. It’s good served with rice and maybe a side salad. It’s a perfect dish if you have visitors as it can be prepared hours before, even the day before, cover with cling film and keep in the fridge till ready to cook it. #mycookbook
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Trim the chicken, place in a flat ovenproof dish. Mix together all the other ingredients except the cinnamon and sugar, pour over the chicken and leave to marinate for a few hours (or overnight).
* Step 2
Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the dish. Bake at 180 degrees for approx 45 minutes. If the top is starting to burn, stir the dish and turn the pieces of chicken over. Serve!
