Vegan karidopita with chocolate glaze
This is an amazing karidopita (walnut cake with syrup) recipe that is as delicious as the usual karidopita.
Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
* Step 2
Mix the flour with the cinnamon, the clove and the baking powder.
* Step 3
Add oil and mix with a fork.
* Step 4
Add the sugar, the water, the walnuts, the baking soda dissolved in the brandy, the lemon zest and mix to incorporate.
* Step 5
Brush a baking tray (about 32 cm diameter) with oil, add the batter and bake at 180°C for about an hour.
* Step 7
Prepare the syrupboil the water and the sugar with the cinnamon stick for 5-7 minutes and then pour the hot syrup over the karidopita.
* Step 8
Melt the chololate with the margarine either in a bain-marie or the microwave and pour the glaze over the karidopita.
