Recipe for brine

A recipe for brine that is suitable for pickles or feta cheese but not meat or fish.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soap the egg, wash it and rinse it thoroughly.

* Step 2

Using a large pot add the water and the salt and stir until all the salt dissolves completely.

* Step 3

Place the egg in the pot and if it floats the brine is ready. If not, add some more salt.

* Step 4

Remove the egg.

* Step 5

Add the rest of the solid ingredients.

* Step 6

Boil the brine for 10 minutes.

* Step 7

Let it cool completely before you use it.

* Step 8

If you don't use the brine on the same day that you have propared it, store it in a glass jar.
