Shrimps with feta cheese (saganaki)

Shrimps with feta cheese saganaki (cooked in a small frying pan) is the best meze for ouzo... and not only!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Sauté the onion in the oil and add the tomatoes, the garlic, the bay leaf, the salt, the pepper, the sugar and water. Boil for 20'.

* Step 2

Then add the shrimps, cleaned, and boil in the sauce for 5'. Place them in small ceramic bowls or a baking tray and sprinkle with the feta cheese cut into large pieces.

* Step 3

Bake in a very hot oven for 10'-15' covered with aluminum foil.
