Apricot compote
So that you can make this much loved apricot compote on your own.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Pick apricots that are not mushy. Wash them, cut them in half and remove the pit.
* Step 2
Boil the water with the sugar for 5 minutes
* Step 3
And add the apricots. Boil for 3-5 minutes.
* Step 4
Make sure that from three minutes onwards you have to keep a constant eye on them and as soon as you see that they have gotten tender, remove with a sifter ladle.
* Step 5
Place them in sterilized jars, boil the syrup a little longer, take off heat and if you like, add the liqueur.
* Step 6
Douse the apricots with the syrup and store the compote for as long as you like.
