Bougatsa from paradise

Today, I made a recipe for bougatsa (Greek breakfast pastry with either sweet or savoury filling) from realfood, mostly because it described it as being very easy to make -not that it wasn't- but more than that, it tasted heavenly.

Ingredient

Food ration :

12 servings
1 l

milk

2 cups

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place the filo sheets in the baking tray without buttering them or the tray.

* Step 2

Pour the melted butter over them.

* Step 3

Bake at 180°C for about half an hour (depending on the oven) until the filo sheets wrinkle.

* Step 4

Beat the milk, sugar and eggs together and pour over the half-baked filo sheets.

* Step 5

Continue baking until the custard thickens for about 40 minutes.

* Step 6

Remove from the oven and dust with icing sugar and cinnamon.
