Bourdeto with octopus from Corfu

A spicy dish, great for meze and wine.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-6 servings
1 kg

potatoes

1/4 cup

vinegar

1/2 tsp

red pepper

1/2 tsp

sweet pepper

1 cup

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil the octopus in a pot with two cups of water and the vinegar for five minutes then take it out and cut it into pieces.

* Step 2

Put the octopus back into the pot with the two kinds of pepper, the tomato paste and the oil and let it boil for two hours.

* Step 3

Add the potatoes and let it boil for an additional half hour until the sauce thickens.
