Evi's amazing tsourekia

6-8 tsourekia
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat the first four ingredients in a pot, until the sugar melts.
* Step 2
Lower the heat a bit and add the vegetable oil.
* Step 3
Dissolve the yeast in the 3 cans of water (warm not hot) using a large bowl and then add the pot's mixture into it.
* Step 4
Add the rest of the ingredients and then, gradually add the flour.
* Step 5
Knead and let the mixture rest covered in a warm place for at least 2 hours so that it rises.
* Step 6
Shape the tsourekia, brush them with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
* Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven using the radiant elements at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
