Meow Mash Perterders
This is a great variation on mash potatoes and way more fun to say. You can even add in garlic, cheese, bacon and green onion to create loaded mash perterders!!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel as many potatoes as needed, don't worry about removing every bit of peeling. Be sure to remove the eyes if any are present, these reportedly kill cats. Ouch.
* Step 2
Cut potatoes into roughly 1 inch cubes, chop parsley. If you drop potato on the floor, the dogs will probably eat it. The cat will look at you like you're an idiot.
* Step 3
Place potatoes into a pan then add salt, pepper and cayenne. Pour in chicken broth until covered and place parsley on top.
* Step 4
Place a lid onto your pan and let boil 20 minutes. Don't start timing until broth begins to boil.
* Step 5
When fork tender, drain potatoes but reserve some broth. To your pan, add your potatoes, parsley, salt, pepper, bit of cayenne, couple tablespoons of broth, splash of milk and a block of cream cheese. Please, don't let your cat lick the cream cheese. Or do..just don't tell anyone who will partake in your perterders.
* Step 6
With all ingredients in pan, grab your favorite masher and mash until combined, creamy and delicious.
