Irvixen's Paprika Beef And Noodles
This is my husbands favorite way to eat venison. You could probably substitute regular paprika for the smoked, but I think you would lose some depth of flavor. :)
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Combine sauce ingredients and mix well. Can be done ahead of time and refrigerated until needed.
* Step 2
In large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook meat and onion in butter until meat is browned and onions are translucent.
* Step 3
Add sauce to pan, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
* Step 4
Can add 2 Tbsp cornstarch or flour mixed with cold water to thicken if you like.
* Step 5
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Serve over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
