Irvixen's Cold Oven Pound Cake
Be sure to start it in a cold oven!!! The BEST pound cake I've ever had. So great in strawberry shortcake.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cream butter, shortening and sugar until smooth.
* Step 2
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
* Step 3
Add flour and salt alternating with milk and vanilla, mixing well to combine.
* Step 4
Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Place in oven and THEN set to 325°F. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes.
* Step 5
Remove from pan after cooling for 30 minutes.
