After cooked live on IG with my friend Marilita as she connected to me from Greece. Perfect sum up for our Global Food Tour on Greece week ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท. We made Greek salad and Tzatziki and also she gave me some tips about cutting tomatoes on the mixing bowl so keep the juice in the bowl rather than chop it on the chopped board. This is an authentic recipe that she taught me. Itโ€™s so fresh and delicious and a must try.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare a large salad bowl. Wash all the veggies well.

* Step 2

Slice the tomato over the bowl- you want the juice inside the bowl so the leftover juice you can mop it up with your pita bread.

Peel and slice the cucumber, chop the peppers in slices, as well as the onion. Add everything into the bowl.

* Step 4

Mix gently. Crumble feta and add over the salad. Drizzle with a bit of vinegar a generous dose of olive oil. Sprinkle with oregano and salt, adding capers and olives if using. Mix all well and enjoy! Perfect with Tzatziki and greek pita bread for summer day โ˜€๏ธ
