Banana bread

A delicious way to use up overripe bananas. Lovely with a cup of tea.

Ingredient

4 oz

butter

1 teaspoon

vanilla extract

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Butter a non stick loaf tin

* Step 2

Cream butter and sugar together

* Step 3

Beat eggs and mash bananas

* Step 4

Add all the ingredients to the butter and sugar and mix with a fork until thoroughly combined

* Step 5

Pour into buttered bread tin

* Step 6

Bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean from thickest part of cake

* Step 7

Tip out of tin and cool on a wire rack
