Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rinse the lotus root. Place it in a colander for 5 minutes. Peel and chop the lotus root into thin finger-like pieces. Dab it dry. In a bowl, add 1 tbsp oil with all the other ingredients except lotus root and water. Then, add water and stir well. Add the sliced lotus root in the mix and coat it well.

* Step 2

Preheat the air fryer at 350°F for 5 minutes. Once the air fryer is preheated, add the lotus root coated with batter in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

* Step 3

Air fry at 350°F for 10 minutes. Toss and cook again 380°F for 6 minutes. Remove the air fried lotus root in a plate. Repeat until you run out of all the batter. Serve hot.
