Express champorado
Chocolate rice pudding for breakfast may sound strange to some people, but it's actually a pretty common Filipino dish. Below is the express, what-to-make-for-the-kid-that's-new version. Adjust it to your liking by increasing the amount of cocoa powder or sugar. Or make it more grown up with a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add the rice and milk to a small pot and warm it up to just below a simmer over medium-low heat. Keep stirring with a wooden spoon, breaking up any clumps, as the rice softens and the milk thickens.
* Step 2
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Add extra cocoa or sugar to taste. Serve hot, with a little cream on the side to lighten it.
